Hi, friend... I'm Mike, a photographer, journalist and multimedia storyteller based in Denver, Colorado. I started my photography journey shortly after graduating from Ohio University when my grandpa gifted me my first DSLR. Moving from my Cleveland-area hometown in 2015, I had a single mission in mind: master the art of landscape photography. During my first years behind the camera, I emphasized crisp, bright mountain scenes in digital format. My mission is evolving, though, and my style has recently developed certain sensibilities that fit better in the world of film. I've always admired documentarian-style art and strive for a photojournalistic approach when composing or editing an image, while focusing on how each moment can make us feel. Ultimately, I hope my work helps illuminate marginalized communities, amplify diverse voices, and support the people and places important to me. I'm confident we can find common ground in these values and look forward to working together toward your vision.
